Please read this policy carefully before placing your order. By shopping at gadgetxcm.store you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Our 30-Day Return Guarantee

GadgetXCM offers a 30-day return guarantee on all products. If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described on our website, you are entitled to a full return and replacement or refund within 30 days of the delivery date.

We also accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is in its original, unused condition with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation included.


2. What Can Be Returned

You may return an item within 30 days of delivery if any of the following apply:

  • The item arrived damaged or broken
  • The item is faulty or not functioning as described
  • You received the wrong item or wrong colour or model
  • The item does not match the description on gadgetxcm.store
  • You changed your mind and the item is unused and in its original sealed packaging
  • The item developed a manufacturing defect within 30 days of delivery

3. What Cannot Be Returned

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Items returned after 30 days from the date of delivery
  • Items that have been used, damaged by the customer, or are missing original packaging, accessories, or documentation
  • Items that have been physically altered or tampered with
  • Software, digital downloads, or items where the seal has been broken
  • Items damaged due to misuse, accidents, liquid damage, or unauthorised repair attempts
  • Consumable items such as batteries or printer cartridges that have been opened and used
  • Personalised or custom-ordered items

4. How to Initiate a Return

Returning an item to GadgetXCM is straightforward. Simply follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact Us Within 30 Days

Contact our customer support team within 30 days of receiving your order. You can reach us through gadgetxcm.store or by emailing admin@gadgetxcm.store . Please have your order number ready.

Step 2: Describe the Issue

Tell us clearly what the problem is. If the item is damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please take clear photos or a short video showing the issue and send these to our support team. This helps us process your return faster.

Step 3: Receive Your Return Authorisation

Our support team will review your request and issue a Return Authorisation Number (RAN) within 1 to 2 business days. Do not send any item back to us without first receiving your RAN, as unauthorised returns cannot be processed.

Step 4: Pack and Send the Item

Pack the item securely in its original packaging if possible, include all accessories, manuals, and documentation, and clearly write your RAN on the outside of the parcel. For South African customers, we will arrange a free collection from your address. For international customers, please follow the return shipping instructions provided by our support team.

Step 5: Receive Your Replacement or Refund

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your replacement or refund within 5 to 7 business days.


5. Return Shipping Costs

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you are returning an item because it arrived damaged, is faulty, or is incorrect, GadgetXCM will cover all return shipping costs. We will arrange a free collection from your delivery address at no charge to you.

Change of Mind Returns

If you are returning an item because you changed your mind, you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping. The item must be returned in its original, unused condition with all original packaging intact. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will issue a full refund of the product price. Original delivery costs are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.


6. Refund Options

Once your return has been approved and the item received and inspected, you may choose one of the following refund options:

Full Replacement

We will send you a brand-new replacement of the same item at no additional cost. Replacement orders are dispatched within 2 business days of the returned item being received and inspected.

Store Credit

We will credit the full value of your order to your GadgetXCM account. Store credit never expires and can be used on any future purchase at gadgetxcm.store.

Full Refund to Original Payment Method

We will refund the full purchase amount to the original payment method used at checkout. Please note that refund processing times vary depending on your bank or payment provider:

  • Credit and debit card refunds typically take 3 to 7 business days to reflect in your account
  • EFT refunds typically take 2 to 3 business days
  • Mobile money refunds typically take 1 to 3 business days

GadgetXCM processes all refunds within 5 to 7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item. We will send you an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.


7. Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for a different model, colour, or product, please contact our support team within 30 days of delivery. We will guide you through the exchange process. Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If the item you want is out of stock, we will offer you a full refund or store credit instead.


8. Warranty Claims

All products sold at GadgetXCM come with the manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty periods vary by product and brand. If your item develops a fault after our 30-day return window but within the manufacturer’s warranty period, you are still protected.

To make a warranty claim please contact us at gadgetxcm.store with your order number, a description of the fault, and photos or video evidence of the issue. We will liaise with the manufacturer or authorised service centre on your behalf to get your item repaired or replaced as quickly as possible.

Please note that manufacturer warranties do not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, liquid damage, or unauthorised modifications.


9. Dead on Arrival Items

If your item does not power on or function at all upon first use, this is classified as Dead on Arrival (DOA). Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order and we will treat this as a priority case. We will arrange an immediate free collection and send you a brand-new replacement as quickly as possible. DOA items are given top priority by our support team.


10. Items Damaged in Transit

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged on the outside, please take photos of the damaged packaging before opening it and contact us within 24 hours of delivery. If the item inside is also damaged, photograph the item as well. Send all photos to our support team through gadgetxcm.store and we will arrange a free collection and immediate replacement at no cost to you.

If you are not home when a damaged parcel is delivered, you may refuse the delivery. The courier will return it to us and we will contact you to arrange a replacement.


11. International Returns

GadgetXCM serves customers across 11 African countries. The same 30-day return guarantee applies to all international orders. However, please note the following for international returns:

  • International return shipping logistics will be arranged by our support team on a case-by-case basis
  • For faulty or incorrect items, GadgetXCM will cover all return and re-delivery costs for international orders
  • For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs from their country to our warehouse in South Africa
  • Customs duties or import taxes incurred during the return process are the responsibility of the customer for change-of-mind returns
  • International refunds may take slightly longer to process due to cross-border banking timeframes

12. Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at gadgetxcm.store or email admin@gadgetxcm.store 

Orders Not Yet Dispatched

If your order has not yet been dispatched from our warehouse, we can cancel it immediately and issue a full refund to your original payment method within 2 to 3 business days.

Orders Already Dispatched

If your order has already been dispatched, we are unable to cancel it before delivery. Please allow the delivery to arrive and then follow our standard return process to send the item back to us for a full refund.


13. How We Inspect Returned Items

All returned items are inspected by our quality control team upon receipt. We check the condition of the item, packaging, included accessories, and documentation. Our inspection process typically takes 1 to 2 business days after we receive the return. You will be notified by email once the inspection is complete and your refund or replacement is being processed.

If a returned item does not meet our return conditions, for example if it has been used, damaged by the customer, or is missing components, we reserve the right to refuse the return or offer a partial refund. We will always contact you to explain the outcome before taking any action.
