The bright f/2.8 maximum aperture at the wide end enables excellent low-light performance and shallow depth-of-field effects, while Tamron’s advanced optical construction ensures consistent sharpness throughout the zoom range. The VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor delivers fast, silent, and precise autofocus.
